Student Workshop: "Democracy in the Context of Political Parties and Election Systems"

Dear students,

We organized an event that will be discussed some topics like democracy, free election, rule of law, duties of political parties, right of election, separation of powers, etc. on a Turkish book between 23 – 24 December 2020 in the afternoon. The event will be planned for two days and four sessions and twenty students should be active commentators and debaters in every session. The event is open to all Ozu students.

The students who want to attend the event must read the book and prepare a presentation about subject headings that will be specified for every session, then the students must make a presentation on these headings and discuss the headings by answering the questions during the event. Academicians will be moderators in the parts of presentations and the debates during the event. The students’ applications for the event will be accepted according to the time of application and the number of applications from faculties and schools will be balanced. The students will be divided into groups of twenty and the students in every group must present and discuss the specific topics by reading the entire book. The students have to attend all sessions in the afternoon during the event. The students who actively participated in the event will receive a certificate of participation.
